The Things People Do

So funny story. I went to the library yesterday to get some summer reads. You wouldn't think anything out of the ordinary would happen at a place where most of the customers are either below the age of 10 or above the age of 50 right? Well I guess not today. I came back to my car to find this card on my windshield, thinking maybe I got a parking ticket or it was some advertisement. But I was shocked to find this written on the front and back.

I mean really dude?! Who seriously carries around cards like these? Its like they are just looking for someone to piss off because they're obviously pissed off at the slightest thing themselves. I just laughed the whole thing off...especially when my grandmother (who was with me at the time) thought the whole thing was silly as well. But in defense of myself, I must say that my car was only like 2 inches off the line and that's only because the huge truck next to me was parked too far over. I'm keeping this card forever!:)

Newark Night Treasures

Last night was the highly anticipated Newark Night on Main Street. Hundreds of vendors, food and entertainment lined the crowed streets as the sun shone down and we all sweated through our short shorts and sundresses. And despite the occasional cat fight and bruised knee trying to jump off brick walls, the night was very memorable. As was the slight treasures I found along the way. Unique jewelry, vintage garments, mouth watering treats and antique cars were among my favorites. And with summer upon us, this was the prefect way to start the coming season!
